This page explains how Canal Sourcing handles personal data when you contact us or use our sourcing service. We keep it short and plain so you can decide what to share.
Who we are
Canal Sourcing is an independent China sourcing service. We are not a registered company with a public business address or registration number. For privacy questions, email hello@canalsourcing.com.
Why we use your data
We use the information you send us to reply to your inquiry, prepare quotes, buy and inspect goods, arrange shipping, and handle after-sales questions.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us: your name, contact details (WhatsApp, Telegram, email or phone), shipping address, product links or photos, quantities, and payment notes related to your order. We do not scrape data from elsewhere and we do not run account registration on this website.
Legal basis
We process your data to take steps at your request before a contract, to perform a contract with you, and where needed based on your consent when you first message us.
Where your data goes
Your messages and order details are handled in China, where we buy, inspect and pack goods. By contacting us, you understand that your data will be transferred to and processed in China.
Who else may see it
Depending on how you contact us and how we ship, data may pass through WhatsApp (Meta), Telegram, Gmail (Google), Cloudflare (this website), and the freight forwarders we use for your shipment. We only share what is needed to reply to you or deliver your order.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set its own cookies and does not load advertising or analytics scripts. Cloudflare, which hosts our DNS and CDN, may process technical request data (such as IP address) for security and delivery. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar tools.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and order records for as long as needed to complete your order and handle follow-ups, then for a reasonable period afterwards in case of disputes or returns. You can ask us to delete your data earlier where the law allows.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to restrict how we use it. If you are in the EU/EEA, UK or Brazil, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Email hello@canalsourcing.com to make a request.
Payment details
We only send payment account details in writing by email. Do not trust payment instructions that arrive only on social chat from accounts that are not listed on this website.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page.
